Certified sommelier, Paul Marsh, is the proprietor of Mile Wine Company, a multifaceted concept unlike any place in Stockton. Paul is a masterful authority on food and wine, having overseen the 25,000-bottle cellar and dining room at Sacramento’s Firehouse Restaurant for the the five years before opening Mile Wine. With nearly 15 years experience in the industry, Paul shares this adept track record and – crucially – infectious enthusiasm for all things wine with his guests through weekly wine classes and winemaker dinners.
Chef Justin Good joined Mile Wine Company in June 2014. Born in Champaign, Illinois, Chef Good grew up living all over America and traveled the world experiencing many different cultures. Those experiences greatly influenced his culinary style over the past twenty years. Chef’s style is a made-from-scratch fusion of California, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, French, Spanish and modern or “molecular” cuisine.
Prior to joining MWC, Chef Good was the sous chef/chef de cuisine for the Hilton Arden West hotel in Sacramento, where his focus was on seasonally local ingredients. He also has worked at Sacramento’s Firehouse Restaurant, the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Paesanos, and the Chateau at Rivers Edge.
